Description
Royal: a cased set of four William IV silver-gilt-mounted liqueur decanters, John Eldershaw Brunt, London, 1836
The four fluted amber glass bottles with silver-gilt mounts embossed with roses, thistles and shamrocks and engraved 'ORANGE WINE', BRITISH SHERRY', 'GINGER WINE' and 'WHITE CURRANT', and all with the manufacturer's name 'E&T TAYLORS', contained in a velvet-lined case, the leather covering tooled and gilded with roses, thistles and shamrocks and set with silver key-plate and plaque, Archibald Douglas, London, 1836, the latter engraved with the arms of William IV and Queen Adelaide.
