A pair of Regency rosewood breakfront open bookcases, circa 1820


inlaid with box and ebony stringing and satinwood banding, the breakfront rectangular top above a frieze with later gilt brass rope twist and anthemion mounts, above three open sections, each with an adjustable shelf, divided by tapering columns terminating in toupie feet
