A Dutch silver marriage/wedding medal

mid-17th century

circular, one side engraved with the Wedding at Cana with Jesus turning water into wine, the other with a formally-dressed couple in church with their joined hands being blessed by heavenly rays, the inscription roughly translating to 'I am faithful to you and no other, because I love you, dear maiden, with my heart and soul',

diameter 6.2cm.
