Two Silver-Gilt Pomanders, Probably German, First Half 18th Century


one of pear shape with screw-on cap and base chased with strapwork borders, circa 1700; the second of baluster form with hinged cap and screw-on base compartment, embossed and chased with four cherub heads and flat-chased with rococo ornament, gadrooned foot rim, both unmarked
