A Meissen Ornithological Part-Service, Circa 1765
comprising:
16 dinner plates, 9 1/4 in., 23.5 cm diam.;
2 large circular platters, 13 3/4 in., 35 cm;
2 circular dishes, 10 1/4 in., 26 cm diam.;
2 pair of wine coolers;
1 small two-handled oval tureen and cover with putto finial,
crossed swords and dot marks in underglaze-blue, various impressed numerals and incised marks, some pieces with gilt marks,
together with an Imperial Porcelain Manufactory, St Petersburg, Period of Alexander II (1855-1881), two-tiered cake stand with figural finial, green Imperial cipher for Alexander II. 25 pieces.
