Norma Kamali Red Rayon Matte Jersey Statue of Liberty Centennial Dress, 1986
This dress was custom made by Kamali for the celebration of the Statue of Liberty’s centennial at The Embellishment of the statue of Liberty exhibition held at Barneys New York in 1986. The dress features an extravagantly long train and was photographed on Jerry Hall by Annie Leibovitz for Vanity Fair’s July 1986 issue.
