• Movement: gilded full plate, verge escapement, broad decoratively pierced winged balance cock and foot with scrolling flowers and foliage, plain flat three-arm steel balance with spring, silver regulation disc, fusee and chain, crested Egyptian pillars, repeating on a bell mounted to the inside case back, signed Felix Jacob Richter, London
• Dial: gold champlevé dial, Roman numerals filled with black wax and with half hour divisions between, outer Arabic minute ring, aperture for date, blued steel beetle and poker hands, the stippled centre with scrolling foliage and banner signed London
• Case: gold inner, pierced band for sound emission decoratively engraved with birds and scrolling foliage, a mask at the base, gilt-metal plunge pendant for repeat • gold outer case with embossed and chased decoration around the central reserve, four part symmetrical scroll cartouche, four framed oval indents each with medallion bust, alternating with pierced, chased and engraved panels, front bezel similarly decoratively pierced and with pulse piece
