• Movement: gilded full plate, verge escapement, plain flat three-arm balance, decoratively pierced and engraved balance cock and foot, silver regulation plate with Turkish numerals, fusee and chain, crested pillars, signed and numbered Markwick, Markham, Borrell, London, no. 24713

• Dial: white enamel, Turkish numerals, outer minute ring, blued steel hands, signed Markwick, Markham, Borrell, London

• Cases: plain gold inner case with aperture for winding to back, pendant and bow with opaque white and translucent red enamel, hallmarked London 1813-1814, case maker's mark AN incuse • mid case gold, back centred with polychrome enamel painted riverside scene, a mill in the mid-ground, mountains in the background and sky of graduated pink guilloché enamel, scalloped border of restored translucent red flinqué enamel, restored champlevé enamel bezels with opaque pink and white enamel interspersed by translucent red enamel flower heads and banners, insidenumbered 3 • the enamel bezels of the outer case with some repairs and decorated en suite
