This is beautifully supple Merlot at this early stage, medium weight with lovely welcoming fruit. Spices and chocolate and inimitably Petrus. What the French call 'friand', pleasant to drink, although I think it is much more! Serena Sutcliffe, MW

There can be little doubt regarding the status of Chateau Petrus as one of the greatest and most coveted wines in the world. Its reputation and allure has been built over the last century. It is therefore a privilege for Sotheby's to present this collection recently removed from the cellar of a great Wine and Art Collector which include a vertical of 6 bottle cases of Petrus from 2005 to 2012, together with a fantastic 2003 Bordeaux collection presentation original wooden case stored.
