In 2014, an incredible, piercing, vibrant nose of nutmeg and lime. Oranges and cloves and so heady it is almost Christmas-like! On the palate, an explosion of preserved lemon flavours, endless and persistent. Lanolin silkiness and an incredible ripe 'sweetness'. The balance of richness and the fresh acidity of 2001 is wholly admirable. Exemplary Grand Cru Chablis - I am in love with this wine, together with the fresh crab out of the sea that we had with it.
