Super-Chancery folio (317 x 204mm.), text in Greek, woodcut Aldine device on title-page and final verso (otherwise blank), modern leather by A. & A. Ganiaris of Athens, first and last few leaves somewhat worn and repaired in gutter, some worming (partly affecting text) and staining, small adhesive label to spine


Second edition of this encyclopedic thesaurus of the Greek language, originally compiled around the year 1000 and edited for publication by Demetrius Chalcondylas in Milan in 1499.
