First Aldine edition of the poems of Catullus, Tibullus and Propertius, with the printing error on the title-page. The final leaf contains an end-title, repeating the text on the title-page, though with Propertius spelled correctly.

binding: Contemporary Italian goatskin over pasteboard (172 x 105 mm), blind-ruled border, lettered CATVLLVS TIBVLLVS PROPERTIVS in oxidized silver on upper cover with a fleuron beneath, stubs from two pairs of fore edge ties, edges with later coloring, a few early annotations. (Joints rubbed, upper joint starting to crack, new endpapers at front.)
