A similar pouring vessel on an oval foot rim also with fluting and ribs on the rim, dated to the Tang dynasty, in the Tianjin City Art Museum, is illustrated by Yun Xizheng in The Collection of Jades in the Tianjin City Art Museum, no. 152; another from the collection of Mr. and Mrs. Desmond Gure was included the Exhibition of Chinese Art, Venice, 1954, no. 225, p. 73, now in the Freer Gallery, National Museum of Asian Art, Smithsonian Institute, Washington, D.C., accession number S1987.726; See also a jade ewer, dated to the Ming dynasty, included in the Min Chiu Society exhibition, Chinese Jade carvings, Hong Kong Museum of Art, 1983, no. 213, pp. 238/9.
