Brush pots of this type and landscape decoration include three in the Palace Museum, Beijing, one with a ‘kuichou’ inscription, corresponding to 1673, and two without inscription, all illustrated in Chen Runmin, Qing Shunzhi Kangxi chao qinghua ci [Qing dynasty blue and white porcelain of the Shunzhi and Kangxi periods], Beijing, 2005, pls. 204, 207 and 210; a similar piece was sold in our Hong Kong rooms, 7th April 2013, lot 3140; and another in our London rooms, 8th December 2022, lot 292.
