These splendid earrings, in the form of a violin, are distinguished by the richness of the workmanship entirely executed by hand, and the preciousness of the gemstones. The body of the instrument, the fingerboard, scroll, tuning pegs and bow are described in minute detail. The all-around modelling of the surfaces, engraved with the milleraies technique by master Italian artisans, is further accentuated by the pavé of diamonds covering the chin rest and by the rubies that adorn the fingerbo ard. The composition is also embellished at the lobe by two pink spinels surrounded by round-shaped diamonds that make these earrings a true masterpiece of Alta Gioielleria.
