Donated by the Bocelli Family.

Two important names in a single exquisite work of art: the famous and late photographer Giovanni Gastel, the poet of the lens, he who overhauled the language of image in fashion, captured Andrea Bocelli, his wife Veronica Berti, and their respective steeds in a memorable sequence of shots in 2019. A detail that frames two wonderful horses from the Bocelli stables, Caudillo and Nevado, today becomes the subject of a work of art by Lorenzo Maleki, architect and scholar of ancient hand-knotting from the Persian tradition and the rest of the world. The tapestry evokes the highly refined craftsmanship that dates back a thousand years, once the exclusive preserve of royal and imperial families, drafting a fine piece that is utterly unique and conveys powerful beauty.
