A "Graeco-Egyptian" Haematite Magical Amulet

circa 3rd Century A.D.


engraved on one side with a womb and key within a spiralling Greek inscription starting with ΟΡΩΡIΟΥΘ, and on the faceted back with a womb motif within two encircling inscriptions. 

1.3 by 1.2 cm.
