An American George III period mahogany and parcel-gilt mirror, circa 1760


the oval plate within a gilt foliate slip and fret-carved cresting, surmounted by a ho-ho bird and applied scroll decoration, the plate with trailing foliate tendrils to the sides and a shaped apron

111cm. high, 50cm. wide; 3ft. 7 3/4in., 1ft 7 11/16in.
