A yellow-ground dish of the same form but painted with fruit and insects is illustrated in John. C. Austin, Chelsea Porcelain at Williamsburg, Williamsburg, 1977, p. 83, no. 71. Another 'Hans Sloane dish of this shape was sold at Sotheby's New York, October 15, 1996, lot 388. Four were in the collection of Peggy and David Rockefeller, New York, sold, their sale, Christie's New York, May 9, 2018, lot 652. Dishes of this form painted with botanicals are also recorded in Bow porcelain.
