In 2022 and from magnum, the nose is

tremendously rich, plummy, robust and majestic. One can understand the 'Mouton comparison', but it has its own glorious character. On the palate, the tannic structure and the extraordinary fruit are 'in bed with each other', in the nicest possible way! This is gorgeous wine and I sometimes wonder if it is the best Lynch Bages ever - and that is saying something. On this showing, a Super Second. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
