Cabernet Sauvignon 67%, Merlot 33%, a very different grape variety composition compared with the higher Cabernet Sauvignon content of recent years. In 2023 and from magnum, a gloriously scented, beguiling bouquet of great breed. Fabulous cassis, woodsmoke and cedar wood, plus the intensity of Lafite layers. This is a brilliantly balanced expression of a hot, early vintage - and all at 12.5%. The seductive fruit is underpinned by the structure of its great terroir, gliding silkily over the palate with such authority and finesse. Undeniably Lafite and undeniably breathtaking.
