The legendary duo of Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid, Newman and Robert Redford reunite in this Chicago-set crime caper as two professional grifters out to con a malevolent mob boss. One of Newman's most successful films, The Sting was nominated for ten Oscars and won an impressive seven, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Film Editing and Best Writing (Original Screenplay). It is regarded as one of the greatest screenplays ever written. In 2005, it was selected for preservation in the U.S. National Film Registry of the Library of Congress.
