Hard Hat with Signatures from the Cast and Crew

circa 1970-1971


Aluminum forest services hard hat (size 6 3/4 – 7 5/8 in.), painted with an Oregon landscape and signed by many of the film’s cast and crew.

Paul Newman directed this 1971 film of a logging family’s struggles during a strike with a strong cast including himself, Lee Remick and Henry Fonda. Adapted from the Ken Kesey novel of the same name, it has the distinction of being the first film shown on HBO when the service made its debut in 1972.
