Brian Bailey, formerly a professor at the School of Visual Arts in New York, has won numerous awards for his work in pastel and has been featured in select exhibitions both nationally and abroad. He also actively teaches and travels internationally for workshop instruction. His work is held in various public and private collections most notably the National Portrait Gallery in Washington D.C. where he has two portraits in the permanent collection.
