Sylvia Stratieva was born in Pazardzhik, Bulgaria. In 1985 she graduated from the College of Fine Arts in Plovdiv and then studied at the Technical University in Sofia, graduating with a Masters of Computing and Industrial Design. Sylvia Stratieva has accomplished 12 solo exhibitions of paintings and drawings and has participated in many national and international group exhibitions, including “Modern Art Competition Portrait – The image of the soul”, “ModPortrait 2019”, “ModPortrait 2020”, and “Figurativas 2021.” Currently she lives and works in Sofia, Bulgaria. She has paintings in private collections in Bulgaria, Poland, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Canada and the USA. Stratieva is also a member of the Union of Bulgarian Artists.
