base: 5 by 67cm., 2 by 26 1/2 in.
This charming terracotta group of two children is inspired by two putti-type figures with a water source in the relief L'Abondance on the façade of the Louvre Museum, Paris. Carrier-Belleuse made various versions, either with one or two children.
