CONCEPT OF ARTWORK

Asher, Janelle and Megan desired to showcase a joyful and loving home for the Malayan tigers by using splashes of cheerful colours to create a dynamic and fun background. Jun-Yi, Keegan, and Keen drew the tigers engaging in different activities using broad paint markers.

TEMENGGONG ARTISTS-IN-RESIDENCE

Established in 2009, Temenggong Artists-In-Residence is the first arts residency in Singapore to create and curate exhibitions and unique spaces for our artists and events. The organisation offers artists and filmmakers a library, comprehensive arts residencies and art-making facilities.

ENABLING VILLAGE

The Enabling Village is an inclusive community space that aims to build a more inclusive society and place a special focus on training and employment of persons with disabilities.

THE ART FACULTY

The Art Faculty is a platform that celebrates the abilities of people with autism. Through collaborations, the organization helps differently-abled artists showcase their talents, learn the value of work and earn royalties to gain financial independence.

THE ANIMAL PROJECT

The Animal Project is a social enterprise that celebrates the abilities of artists with special needs. By curating quality lifestyle products from their artworks, the Animal Project seeks to raise awareness and contribute to people with special needs. The six artists who collaborated on the tiger sculpture are: Asher Won, Janelle Seah, Megan Lim, Keegan Teo, Foo Thong Keen, and Tay Jun-Yi.
