Cabernet Franc yields were very low, so there is proportionately more Merlot than usual in this wine, but the Cabernet Francs were very flavoury. Spicy, cocoa. Candied banana. Tannins. Vanilla. Very tasty - not as rich as the 1995, but full of flavour. Serena Sutcliffe, MW.

這年的卡本納弗朗葡萄產量奇低，故此這款佳釀的梅洛葡萄比例相對較高，但卡本納．弗朗的味道依然毫不遜色。具辛辣、可可和甜香蕉的味道。丹寧明顯，雲呢拿味充斥。多麼可口，不像1995年份般豐厚，但百味紛陳。施慧娜（葡萄酒大師 M.W.）
