Oblong 4to (298 x 228mm.), 13 silverprints, text in English and Arabic, contemporary brown morocco, minor wear


This album discusses the relocation of the ancient monuments on Philae in 1972 and 1973, illustrated with photographs. The ancient sites were taken down and rebuilt to avoid being flooded by the waters from the Aswan Dam.
