Lindsey, Worldly Goods: The Arts of Early Pennsylvania, 168-1758, (Philadelphia, PA: Philadelphia Museum of Art, 1999), p. 112, no. 119).  The pair were sold at Pook and Pook, Inc., Dowingtown, Pennsylvania, Period Furniture and Accessories, September 21, 2002, lot 200.
