The newly-arrived Cathiards made a huge sacrifice here, only releasing 30,000 bottles that they though worthy of the name. At 18 years old, it has a really lovely, soft taste and is absolutely ready - and this was machine-harvested, in the vintage before the Cathiards bought the property! Serena Sutcliffe, MW
