Patek Philippe introduced their first automatic wristwatch in 1953. The reference 2526 would become an international success and can be found in all precious metals with or without bracelets. The present watch is fitted with an ivory white enamel dial and luminous indexes and hands. The dial itself is intact with no imperfections and has a nice off-white ivory colour. The case is very crisp and the unusual bracelet has a monogram to the clasp. Less than a 100 examples are known in pink gold and the present watch is a fantastic example and still retains with its original PP crown.

The rarest aspect of the present watch is its luminous dial and hands. Only 15 examples are known to have this configuration.
