The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. In very well preserved condition, made in 1953, the present example features the correct first series dial where the indexes sink into the enamel. The watch still retains with its original PP crown. The case is very crisp with strong hallmarks under the lug and between the lug at 6 o'clock. The dial is free of any imperfections and is intact to the best extent. As can be seen clearly in the image. The numerals at 8 and 9 o'clock have become tarnished, which is easy to clean. The present example represents only 10 black dial first series 2526 is known and the watch has been stored away since it was purchased at Christie's New York in year 2000.
