附帶後補資料庫精粹

The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. All functions are working properly. In extremely well preserved condition, the dial retaining its hard enamel printing and scales to a great extent. There is some very minor spotting and 2 larger spots to the registers that have been caused during a service. The numerals have minor tarnishing throughout. The retail signature is complete. There is some minor loss to the dial underneath the bezel between 1 and 2 and 7 and 8 o'clock, indicating the bezel has sat on top of the dial for decades. On the reverse of the dial, there is a wonderful patina that surrounds the calendar windows and moon phase aperture. This indicates that the dial has not been removed for an extremely long period of time. The back of the dial is also hand scratched with the correct movement number. Overall a highly charismatic dial. The case is very well preserved with good flutting to all four lugs. There is a crisp, easy to see hallmark to the outside of the lug at 5 o'clock and a second very crisp and easy to see to the band by the upper left lug. The 3 last digit of the case number are also repeated inside the lug. The movement is in very nice condition.

Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement and we do not guarantee the authenticity of any individual component parts since subsequent repairs and restoration work may have resulted in the replacement of original parts.
