Small 4to (220 x 184mm.), extra-illustrated with an additional manuscript title within a watercolour garland, and 30 FINE ORIGINAL BOTANICAL WATERCOLOURS, many with butterflies and other insects, text inlaid into Whatman paper with watermarks dated 1822, nineteenth-century brown morocco gilt, densely gilt doublures, vellum endpapers, edges gilt and gauffered


Fine botanical drawings, probably French in origin.
