First edition, large 4to (369 x 275mm.), half-title, hand-coloured additional title, dedication to Her Royal Highness the Princess Victoria, 11 hand-coloured lithographed plates heightened with gum arabic, original dark brown cloth, rebacked with morocco, gilt edges, yellow endpapers, spotting and dampstaining affecting lower margins of last few plates, covers stained, repaired at extremities
