Black, tarry colour. Fennel and black fruit nose, mixed with barbeque smoke! And it would be incredible to drink with barbeque pork. Then it becomes more crushed roses and hoisin sauce. This really fills the mouth with delectable fruit that caresses the palate, like silk sheets on skin. A wine that inspires vocabulary like this - try it and see. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
