A group of five Italian silver stoppiniere, Italy, 19th and 20th centuries


one resting on a beaded spreading foot pierced with acanthus foliage, Genoa, circa 1830, the second baluster-shaped, Gaspare Nobler, Roma, 1842-1858, the third cylindical, the thumbpiece decorated with two lion heads, goldsmith FR and a horse, listed but unidentified, Padua circa 1830 and a pair resting on three dolphin feet, the thumbpiece engraved JG, Pampaloni, Florence, 1940-1945
