Compare the distinct border around the figures and the treatment of the dragon's wings and St George's armour with the Lesser George ascribed to a Roman workshop, circa 1650, in the Royal Collection, which was traditionally said to have belonged to the Young Pretender, Prince Charles Edward Stuart (1720-1788) (inv. no. RCIN100031).
