brightly enamelled in an array of coloured grounds, reserving the interlaced LL monogram of Lothian surmounted with a Marquess' coronet, comprising:


-32 coffee cups,

-13 tea cups,

-8 espresso cups and 64 saucers,

the teacups and saucers with decorator's script mark Lerosey/11 rue de la paix in iron-red, incised marks, the coffee cup saucers with impressed F&M164 for Fischer & Mieg,


together with Two Höchst coffee cups, circa 1770, painted with flower initials A and C respectively, wheel marks in underglaze-blue, incised marks

Generally in country house condition with some minor damages and wear. The Fischer and Meig part service is usable and the Paris Lerusy set more decorative rather than usable.

French harlequin set retailed by Lerusy, comprising: four turquoise-ground teacups and saucers (one saucer and one cup chipped); three buff-ground teacups and saucers and a coffee-cup and saucer (one teacup and one coffee-cup cracked and scattered chipping); three plain teacups and two saucers (one cup chipped and cracked, rim chips); two duck-egg-blue ground teacups and saucers, generally good order; a violet=ground teacup and saucer (cup chipped and cracked); and twelve various odd saucers en-suite in two sizes, various colours (four violet, four pink, two turquoise, one blue and one plain), chipping to rims.


F & M service, comprising: five yellow-ground tall cups and saucers (slight wear); five dark-blue-ground cups and saucers (slight wear); five claret-ground cups and saucers (slight wear); three sky-blue-ground cups and saucers (slight wear); three green-ground cups and saucers (one cup cracked, one saucers chipped, slight wear); three tomato-red-ground cups and saucers (wear); three grey-ground cups and saucers (slight wear); two pink-ground cups and saucers (one saucer extensively damaged and pinned, slight wear); two brown-ground cups and three saucers (one handle detached, wear); a black-ground cup and three saucers, wear).
