with three divisions, the sides with fretwork, the castors stamped COPE'S PATENT 

68cm. high, 65cm. wide, 50cm. deep; 2ft. 2¾in., 2ft. 1½in., 1ft. 7½in.

The Elizabethan style employed on the offered lot reflects the decoration that was being undertaken by the 8th Marquess of Lothian at both Newbattle Abbey and Blickling Hall.
