This very rare Japanese poster is the best looking piece on this 1940s Hollywood musical.

The 1949 musical On the Town was the directorial debut of Gene Kelly and Stanley Donen. Kelly also choreographed the dance sequences. The music was by Leonard Bernstein and Roger Edens, with additional numbers by Betty Comden and Adolph Green. The cast includes Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, Betty Garrett, and Ann Miller. The film was a big hit and won an Oscar for Best Music — Scoring of a Musical Picture.
