This size poster was produced in smaller quantities than the regular US poster. It was also printed on heavier paper stock, which led to better colour saturation. The design is unique to this size.

Alice in Wonderland was released in 1951 by Walt Disney, based on the Alice books by Lewis Carroll. It was Disney's thirteenth animated film. Walt Disney had attempted to make the film during the 1930s, then revived his idea ten years later. Originally intended to be a mix between live-action and animation, in 1946 Disney decided to make it completely animated. The film was not popular when released, which led Disney to televise it on the inaugural episode of his series Disneyland. Owing to its huge popularity on television, Alice was re-released in cinemas globally in the 70s, becoming a colossal success.
