This is a printer's proof, which has the addition of the colour code strip along the left-hand side.

These printer's proofs were only used by the printers and never distributed. They therefore are extremely rare compared to the main release poster.

This was the final film made in the original Star Wars trilogy, which is now the sixth film, owing to the subsequent prequel trilogy.
