The canvas is unlined. Inspection under UV light reveals several tiny spots of retouching in places, largely to the sky and the edges of the canvas. There is an artist's pinhole in each corner with some tiny associated flecks of retouching. There are fine lines of paint shrinkage and craquelure to the composition and some very minor pigment loss to the thicker areas of impasto, the latter of which is only visible upon extremely close close inspection. There is some surface dirt and small surface accretions in places. There is some wear to the extreme edges. This work is in overall good condition.
