ink on paper

24 by 33¾ in.

61 by 85.7 cm.

Executed in 1961.

The Guston Foundation will include this work in the forthcoming catalogue raisonné of the drawings of Philip Guston.

This work is in very good condition overall. The lower edge is deckled and there are associated minor tears along the lower edge. There is a slight undulation to the sheet, inherent to the artist's chosen media. There are soft creases scattered throughout the sheet. Upon close inspection, the left and right edges have discolored faintly. The sheet is hinged verso to the mat along the top edge. Framed under Plexiglas.

Framed dimensions: 32 by 41 ¾ in. (81.3 by 42 cm.)
