Executed in 1894.

The canvas is lined. Minor frame abrasion along the lower edge. The edges are taped. One nailhead-sized loss above the right orange. Minor craquelure in the gray, pink and purple pigments in the lower center right. Possible losses to the lower center of the banana. One possible repaired tear to the center of the right edge. Under UV light: strokes of inpainting along the right edge, further strokes to address the aforementioned tear. Further strokes in the upper left corner. This work is in good condition.


Framed: 15 by 25 5/8 in. (38 by 65.1 cm.)
