En el barco (For Edward James)

inscribed Edward from Leonora (lower left)

tempera and silver leaf on panel

10 by 8 in.

25.4 by 20.3 cm.

Executed circa 1954.

We are grateful to Dr. Harold Gabriel Weisz Carrington for confirming the authenticity of this work.

We wish to thank Dr. Salomon Grimberg for his kind assistance in the cataloguing of this work.

This work is in excellent condition. The panel on which it is painted is flat. The paint layer is stable and unvarnished, as was intended by the artist. Slight scuffs can be seen in the corners and on the edges, but this also seems to be intentional. The gilding still seems to be in original condition, as does the paint layer in the figures and the boat. The work should be hung as is. In response to your inquiry, we are pleased to provide you with a general report of the condition of the property described above. Since we are not professional conservators or restorers, we urge you to consult with a restorer or conservator of your choice who will be better able to provide a detailed, professional report. NOTWITHSTANDING THIS REPORT OR ANY DISCUSSIONS CONCERNING CONDITION OF A LOT, ALL LOTS ARE OFFERED AND SOLD "AS IS" IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONDITIONS OF SALE PRINTED IN THE CATALOGUE.
