The canvas is unlined. The canvas is slightly loose on the stretcher. The colors are bright and fresh. Scattered artist's pinholes are visible under close inspection around the perimeter. There are some instances of stable pigment shrinkage, the larger of which located at center left in the tickly applicated yellow and green pigments, with one associated 1 inch loss. Four additional nail-head sized losses in the lower left corner. Under UV light: some pigments seem to fluoresce, but no inpainting is apparent. This work is in very good condition.
