This work is in very good condition. The canvas is unlined and the edges are taped. The pigments are very bright and fresh. The impasto is well preserved. Under close inspection, scattered very fine networks of craquelure become visible in the thicker pigments with one pindot-sized associated loss in the lower left quadrant measuring approximately 8 inches diagonally from the lower left corner. One further stable network in the cloud at the center of the upper register and in the cloud in the upper left quadrant. Under raking light, a faint stretcher bar mark becomes visible in the upper register. Under UV light: a few scattered pindot-sized strokes of inpainting visible in the upper left quadrant.
